Christmas card picture

This picture isn't great but beggars can't be choosers can they? About 2 minutes after this shot Brody made a noise and Travis jumped out of the chair yelling "he's going to barf on me!". That was the end of the photo shoot-oh well. We couldn't even get Travis to let Brody sit in his lap for the same reason! Hopefully we will get a better picture next year-well maybe not since 1 year olds are notorious for not sitting still. ;)

Brothers playing.....

Since this is a still picture you can't really tell what is going on here but it was really cute. Travis started to play with Brody without any prompting-he was making him "jam out" by moving his arms around etc. It was cute. I think Travis really likes having a little brother. I can't wait for the day they can really play together-Travis has been waiting and waiting for that. I know he likes playing with us but has always craved having another child around the house to play with as well. Many more cute brother moments to come I'm sure! :)

Putting together our Santa list!

Travis had been cutting items out of ads for awhile and we finally put them together on his official Santa list. Hopefully next year he will be able to write smaller since the 2 sentences took up almost the entire first page. ;) Otherwise he just glued the items on! For the record Santa has gotten everything he asked for except for one of them because it had terrible reviews. There are other things he is getting that aren't on his list as well. Hopefully he will be happy with how Santa did this year!

In case you can't read it...."I played football with my friend AJ on the bed." What's cute about this is that AJ is Evan's cousins son that Travis just met the weekend of Thanksgiving. AJ is 7 and they got along so well! I just thought it was cute that Travis wrote about him at school the following week.
