Nap Nanny

Brody tried out the Nap Nanny last night. He was asleep in it from 8:30-10:30 and woke up since he hadn't eaten since 6pm. I didn't put him back in it after his fedding though since he was really cold-his hands were like ice! I think it's because I have it in the pack and play which was next to the window and it's really low to the ground. We need to try it in his real crib next. Hopefully he loves it and sleeps well in it every night!

Caught in the act.......

Dexter LOVES pacis for some reason. He stole them from Travis and now he is stealing them from Brody. He grabs them and ends up chewing the end off so of course it has to be trashed. What makes this really annoying is that the kind of pacis bot Travis and Brody like are really hard to find. Our local Target and Giant are sold out because I buy all of them every time I am there. Oh well. It is kind of funny to see a `15 pound cat walking around with a paci in his mouth though.....

Trying to make good on a resolution....

So earlier today while Brody was napping I went into the basement to start on one of my New Year's resolutions which was to get my scrapbook up to date. I didn't get very far though since I realized my paper/picture cutter was all messed up. A few months ago there was a soda spilled on the table and it must have gotten on my cutter along with some of my pages . I tried to clean the underside of the cutter but it broke the blade which of course was my last blade in the house. Oh well-guess I will have to start this when I go to Michael's and get a new blade. Just look at all of those pictures......probably over 500 there......granted they include pictures from this Christmas and date back to June but it is still very overwhelming. We will try again soon!

Resolutions......

Well it's the time of year where people make their New Year's resolutions. I have a few and I feel like some of these are ones I've had before. ;)

1. Lose weight-I have a number in mind but I would be happy with 10% of my current weight.

2. Exercise at least 4 times a week-this can't start though until my doctor clears me from the c-section which should be in 2 weeks.

3. Keep up with my scrapbook-I fell behind in the last few months and the goal is to be caught up to the current month by the end of the year.

4. Be the best wife, mother and friend I can possibly be!

Sometime over the summer I will re-cap these and let you know how I am doing. :)

Organized

Thankfully I am a very organized person. I put away the last of the Christmas stuff over the weekend. I have it all labeled by room so the next year it is super easy to put out. I also take pictures of everything before I dismantle it so it's just a matter of following that. Trust me it makes things so much easier when you are in the middle of it-otherwise the 20+ sterlite boxes are VERY overwhelming!

Just think next year I will be doing this with a one year old Brody walking around-YIKES!
