Snow pictures......two weeks late......UGH

What is wrong with me?  Why can't I post anything in a timely fashion these days?  sigh.......

Most of these pictures are of Brody because Travis was in a snit about wearing a coat.  He is in the later pictures without a coat because I was tired of fighting him about it.

The snow was so bright he had a hard time opening his eyes!

CHEESE

Eating snow for the 1st time---considering he never tries anything new this shocked me

They made their own little sledding hill from the pile the snow plow made

Ah here is Mr. "no coat"

Snow on the lens makes this look cool---my camera literally froze after this picture

There's Brody at the bottom

Travis is attempting to help Brody walk up the hill--he got it after the first few tries

He always wanted to go head first

Snow x2

At the beginning of the month we got hit with two snow storms in two days.  Both gave us around 2-3 inches of snow....it was enough to excite the kids and cancel school so it was great!  lol  Brody really enjoyed being in the snow for the 1st time this year too.  Hopefully we get more snow soon because I loved watching them play in it together!

Kids in the snow

Hindsight is always 20/20....always.  So in hindsight I should have taken the kids outside around 10 when the snow was pouring down and wasn't melting very fast.  But no I was sticking to my guns of "Travis must have all of this back school work done before he can go outside".  Ugh---it took him ALL morning to finish it.  Anyway he was finally done at about 1pm and we all got ready to go outside.  We got outside and it was raining.  :(  Bummer.....I was able to get 2 pictures of the kids together before Travis ran off to play with his friends.  I should have made him stay with us to make a snowman or something but I also didn't think Brody would actually stay outside.  He has never wanted to even step in the snow before but he stayed outside for a full hour "helping" me shovel.  He still refused to wear gloves though so his hands were FROZEN.  Here are the few pics that I got......
