Someone (maybe the room moms?) had the awesome idea of having a block party on the last day of school for the kids in the class. There was rain in the forecast but that didn't dampen their spirits! The kids played kickball, ate snowcones and pizza and had a great time! It was also a chance for the kids to say goodbye to Mrs. Anderson again--she is leaving Lowes Island and going to a school in Leesburg that is closer to her house. :( The kids had a blast and played in the rain for hours. It was a great idea and I hope we do it every year from now on.
