Halloween 2 weeks late--lol PART 1

See?  I told you I was behind!  lol  Brody didn't want to wear a costumer last year or the year before so I was thankful Evan's mom had bought this Hokie Bird costume that looked like pjs.  I was able to sneak it on him in the morning for school and he wore it all day!  Well except for the moment when he got to school and started taking it off!  He unzipped the front like he does with his coat every day and was standing there in his crocs and a pull up!  lol

Here are the pics from school!

Bye bye Hokie bird!

He loves the tunnel

This is the only picture I have of Travis at his school parade.  Brody didn't want to be inside--not sure if he was scared of the costumes or what but I was able to snap this picture before Brody and I spent the rest of the time outside

Cox Farms

I am so terribly behind.....sigh.....moving on.....lol  About 3 weeks ago (or more ugh) Michelle and I took the boys to Cox Farms.  They always have a great time---it was very busy when we went and Brody wasn't into watiing in the lines for the slides but they had fun anyway!  :)

Waiting for the hayride

Saying "cheese" too bad you can tell Brody is saying "cheese"  LOL

Halloween stuff at Target for 70-90% off!

Since the kids were off on Monday and Tuesday I completely forgot to check to see if Target had marked their Halloween stuff to 90% off.  This morning at the Target by the gym I found a bunch of GREAT deals!  Always scan items because the signs still said 70% off for the stuff that rang up at 90% off!  There were a lot of costumes for little kids left as well but Brody is soooo picky about wearing a costume that I didn't bother.  lol  Maybe there will be some great things at your Target!

Holy cow look at those prices!

The pumpkin push-ins were .70 each, the cupcake liners were .19, the 18 pack of eye patches were .30, the potato puffs were at 70% off and rang up at $1.19 (omg they are good!), the cookie mold pan was $1.19 and the pumpkin carving set was .40!  (those are great sets btw we have a few and I bought this set for a neighbor)

Spirit buckets

Last week the boys had their 1st playoff game and I was tasked with some type of spirit item for the kids.  So I decided to make spirit buckets using the metal pails in the $1 section at Target, some paint and some candy!  EASY!  It did take some time though since the paint had to dry in stages but each pail had the boys number, their name, a Cougar paw print and "Cougars 2013" on the back.  I wrote a little poem of sorts and put it inside....."SMARTIES know......if you stick together as a team like the 3 MUSKETEERS you will CRUNCH the Jets!".  So of course you can figure out which candies were in the bucket.  I also put a brand new penny in each bucket and told the boys it was a lucky penny and they had to wear it taped to their pants on Saturday  I don't know if it was the buckets, having the team healthy or the pennies but THEY WON and they play in the championship on Saturday!

Candy :)

Looks cute right?

All 17 packed up and ready to go!
