Saturday in the late afternoon we headed over to the Benton’s house for their annual Memorial Day cookout. Travis disappeared with Reed the minute we got there and they were easy to spot later since they were both wearing the exact same Wolverine shirt from Old Navy-lol. It’s always so nice to just chat with friends for hours and hours while eating good food and relaxing. We didn’t leave until almost 10pm and Travis fell asleep in the car-no shock there.
Sunday we all went to Wegman’s to go grocery shopping. Evan doesn’t normally go with us but Travis asked him to and he couldn’t say no. I love their fresh fruits and veggies-they are so much better than the Giant, Harris Teeter or Bloom ones. Of course having Evan along meant some things in the cart that aren’t normally in there such as beer, Strongbow and salmon. Oh well….it happens. Later in the afternoon Travis and I watched ET on HBO. Travis had never seen it and I hadn’t seen it in years! It was so cute when he cried at the end when ET was going back home and Elliot was staying on Earth. He was sobbing-awwwww. We tried to go to the pool after the movie but of course it starts raining about 30 minutes after we got there. Evan had to pick us up in the car since I wasn’t walking in the rain/letting Travis maneuver his bike in the rain. Good times! We just hung out the rest of the day/evening since it was raining.
