1 step forward and 2 steps back.....

So Travis had been "paci free" for 16 days.....I say "had" because the other night he woke up after being asleep for only about 2 minutes panicked about where "Bluejay" was. After a lot of consoling we caved and gave it to him with the promise he didn't put it in his mouth. Once he was asleep I plucked it out of bed in case he woke up wanting it again. I cut a huge hole in it and plan on doing so every night until it's just a plastic thing with a ring on it. Man....who knew his security blanket would be so hard to get rid of?!?! Do you think he will take the plastic ring part of "bluejay" to college?
