The weather took a turn for the better!

We spent most of the day on Saturday enjoying being outside. It was sunny and warm (almost 80 degrees)! Travis played outside in the neighborhood a lot of the day and had a blast! Later in the day Travis went to Katherine's birthday party at Tiger Den. He had a blast breaking the boards and watching the bigger kids do their moves. We may need to sign him up for some classes-he seems to really enjoy it and would probably be really good at it.

Mark came down from Baltimore (where he is visiting for work) and he and Evan proceeded to drink many, many beers on the deck. :) Travis was exhausted from the full day and still trying to make up for the late night from the game. I put him to bed and Evan and Mark walked up to the Velocity 5 up the street for some more beers etc. Once they were gone I went into the basement and finished up my scrapbook pages from the night before (the titles) while watching my new favorite show "Chopped". I'm not really sure what time Evan and Mark got back.....

Travis slept in on Sunday morning until 8am which is super late for him! It was nice for the two boys who were hungover. ;) We just hung around the house until mid day when Mark went back up to Baltimore. We all got cleaned up and headed out to look at new hot tubs....our old one has died AGAIN and we think it might be time for a new one. After shopping around it was time for a late lunch/early dinner and we headed to the Fuddruckers in Herndon. Travis had a crispy chicken sandwich that was as big as his head! Everyone had a good time and we headed back home.

When we got home Travis wanted to see if Kelly wanted to watch the movie we had gotten from the RedBox "Bedtime Stories". Unfortunately she wasn't home and her dad said she wasn't going to be home for another hour or so. So he and I went home to watch some of the movie and then went back over to Kelly's to play. We played with Kelly for a bit outside until it was time for her to go home for dinner. Travis and I went back inside to finish the movie. The movie was pretty cute overall (Once you get past it's Adam Sandler) and both Travis and I agree that Bugsy was the best part.

Our evening may contain some Rockband but we will just have to wait and see....Travis is currently reading in his bed. :)
