For some reason Travis wanted to play with Play dough tonight. So we got all of the different colors out with a rolling pin and he started making things. All of a sudden he got the idea to make planets and the sun. He asked me to get his planets book for color comparison and the order of the planets. Next thing I knew he had the sun, the moon and the other planets! They were all round (from the Play Dough can) but the colors matched the book and Earth looked awesome! He made Earth blue with green for the continents and white for the ice caps! Travis was so proud of his solar system he wanted his picture taken with it! He had fun and was learning while he was doing it so it's all good!
